We congratulate the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine on the second anniversary of his enthronement

On this day, two years ago, His Beatitude Metropolitan Epiphaniy was elevated to the throne of the Kyiv metropolitans. During today’s festive Divine Liturgy in St. Michael’s Golden-Domed Cathedral, Metropolitan Alexander of Pereyaslav and Vyshneve concelebrated His Beatitude together with the Exarch of the Ecumenical Patriarch in Ukraine, Bishop Michael of Comana, and the bishops of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. The Chairman of the Parish Council of the Stauropegic Cathedral of the Transfiguration Mr. Igor Lysov congratulated His Beatitude Metropolitan Epiphanius by telephone, send over flowers and a gift, and wished the Primate all-round help from the Lord for the joyful and fruitful service for the Church of Christ. “By your efforts let faith and truth be established on our land, let peace and harmony come to every home, and as soon as possible let all Orthodox Christians glorify the Lord God in the one local Ukrainian Orthodox Church,” added Mr. Lysov. Many and blessed years to our Primate!
